The collaboration between LEVO and BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) aimed to modernize Mumbai's urban utility maintenance operations. LEVO provided a customized truck-mounted aerial working platform to address the aging fleet challenges BEST faced, ensuring enhanced efficiency, safety, and operator comfort.
Problem
The 16 truck-mounted boom lifts in service for 15 years needed to be scrapped as per government regulations for metro cities. The older 2-boom hydraulic lifts were cumbersome to operate on narrow, crowded Mumbai roads. Operators had to bring the boom down to ground level for access, delaying work. Outdated features and lack of ergonomic design made shifts uncomfortable for staff.

Enhanced reach and smooth, jerk - free movements for easy operations on narrow roads. BS6 chassis with blower, music system, and ergonomic featured improved working conditions. CE-EN280 compliance ensured stability and safe operation. Faster deployment and easy handling increased response times and productivity
